·        Aligned business goals and created successful partnership with Microsoft Learning, Unlimited Potential, Parallel Computing Product group, Windows Mobile Product Group, UX Designers, Live Mesh, and Accessibility teams.

- Vision and Leadership: Created strategy for Imagine Cup and managed execution across 100+ countries.  These responsibilities included:

·        Diligently planned and simulated different scenarios for maximizing business outcomes based on many possible configurations of internal elements and usage of different parameters. Which ended with the production of a framework for self-sustainability and finance control?

·        The management and coordination of a team consisting of more than 80 marketing professionals in 100 countries

·        The innovation of using Digital Marketing tactics, such as viral campaign through social networking, blog strategy, search optimization, forums strategy, and on-line support.

·        The design, creation, and implementation of search optimization of the Imagine Cup website. www.imaginecup.com. 

·        Owner of the marketing program for driving entrepreneurship initiatives among students - Innovation Accelerator – Program was run in 14 countries, and an international event in Silicon Valley brought 6 teams to pitch to Venture Capitalists and meet Bill Gates;

·        The planning and execution of the Imagine Cup World Wide Finals in France - A five day event with 1200 attendees and 180 media vehicles;

·        The Implementation of a blogging strategy for Imagine Cup finals through the usage of “news nuggets” and connection with Corp PR team;

·        The creation and implementation of a sponsorship model for making Imagine Cup competition to be self-sustainable;

- Creation and Management of the marketing evangelism for the Academic Audience and Technical Enthusiasts.

·        Started the DPE Academic Evangelism efforts in Brazil, defining its strategy, tactical plan and executing it;

·        In 4 and ½ years brought Brazil academic perception and satisfaction from the lowest position among all countries surveyed by DTS to the top first position;

·        Created and Managed the Imagine Cup Marketing Program. And made Brazil 4 years in a row the country with the highest number of participants, and highest number of PR Top Stories;

·        Developed and managed academic partners for marketing programs and MSDN AA sales; Position Brazil as the second country in the world with the highest number of subscription sales for 2 years.

·        Launched IT Academy program, managed its marketing and sales activities;

·        Launched and maintained 3 MSR Research labs in the three more respectful Universities in Brazil (USP, UNICAMP, and PUC-Rio).

·        Started and worked with Microsoft Innovation Centers (MIC) on academic and development of the local software industry initiatives;

·        Negotiated and launched 4 MIC (Microsoft Innovation Centers) dedicated to interoperability researches.

·        Started and articulated Microsoft partnership between a Brazilian research institution (FAPESP) and Microsoft Research for supporting ICT research projects in a Matching funds model.

·        Built and grew a local Microsoft student community around an influential marketing program that evolved into a “frequent customer” like marketing plan with more than 8,000 students and faculty.

·        Created a top-down strategy for academic elites and faculty by brand association with key influential personalities. Researched academic  ecosystem data; identified those key influential personalities into a heat map, and built solid institutional relationship with Microsoft;

·        Hosted Imagine Cup 2004 international finals in Brazil, which welcomed 260 attendees from 41 different countries;

·        Pioneered on government and public organized societies engagements in Brazil; Made events into public buildings and became an institutional member of the Brazilian Computer Society.

·        Won the FY04 Academic Developer Evangelist DPE award at MGB, best in the role worldwide;

·        Recognized with a Chairman Award - Outstanding Achievement Winner of FY05 Circle of Excellence Award.

·        Developed skills as Microsoft spokesperson, and collected more than 300 positive articles on newspapers, magazines, radio, and TV;

·        Promoted Brazil to first place in worldwide in adoption of Microsoft Technology in class.

·        Collaborated internally with other groups such as Public Sector, BMO, LCA, Citizenship, MSN, and HR for increasing academic results and creating good opportunities to the other parts.

·        Wrote a chapter and edited the book “Intellectual Property” including other 7 think tankers. Book recognized and quoted by federal government employees during debates with lawmakers and organized society groups.

·        Partnered with the US government developing initiatives with the USAID and the local US Embassy.

·        SPB – Brazilian Payment System Project - Managed (Project Manager) a 1 year and 7 months mission critical project that implemented a finance settlement, custody, and payment chamber system at Bovespa/CBLC;

·        Coded and Supported the Brazilian Vote Machine project, created using Windows CE;

·        Coded and implemented (as developer) a customized Business Intelligent system for the government of “Rio Grande do Sul” State. The project was the largest BI project in Brazil with more than 1 Tbyte of Data.

·        Investigated and advised  (Windows Server and Servers support) on system’s performance issues at customers such as Cooperative Bank, Banespa Bank, Bradesco Bank, Unibanco Bank.
